Introductory session to the PPP project. We make up our groups and decide to choose the profession of cybersecurity expert.
We organised the roles of each team member, and started working on our back-schedule using the Trello website. After a period of reflection, we agreed on each person's role.
We started out looking for cybersecurity experts in the army and military sector, but eventually turned to cybersecurity in the educational sector with a university. With the help of Liam's various contacts, including Andrew Meikle, head of the Corporate Information Systems Department at Lancaster University in the UK, we managed to arrange an interview with the University's Manager of IT Security.
We organised and wrote down the questions to be asked during the interview with the help of various group meetings. Then we started working on the organisation of the website with the assignment of each person's role and the plan to be followed. We then started working on making and reviewing different possible "mock-ups" for our website.
Recording and interview with John Couzins, Manager of IT Security at Lancaster University. Meeting with the rest of the group afterwards to start organising the staging of the video, and deciding which parts of the interview to incorporate into the video.
After a meeting, everyone goes at the task they were each given. Lucas and Sébastien get organised on writing the home and job presentation page. Enzo is in charge of organising the meetings and taking note of what has been said, Jules reviews the graphic suggestions made during the meeting and Liam is in charge of reading back the whole thing and assembling into a wevsite while writing the other parts. Liam also takes care of the organisation, production and editing of the video at the same time.
On that day Liam was busy finalising the visual aspects of the site in CSS and with Bootsrap. We incorporate our final PPP video, and ensure our website is responsive under different viewports and devices.
Lucas takes care of finalising the documentary research and the writing of the job's presentation, and then sends it to to Liam to structure the text and incorporate it into the site while maintaining a pleasant and original visual appearance.
With the writing and visuals of the presentation page, interview, team presentation and organisation pages now complete, Liam and Jules make sure that it all respects the given instructions and that the visual and functional aspect of the website is as it should be. Lucas proofreads and corrects spelling and grammar mistakes.
Now that the presentation page has been finalized and proofread, Lucas is busy compiling his references and sends them to Liam for the development of the "References" page of our website. Liam then works on the layout of the reference links with a small highlighter animation.
Now that the site is complete, Liam takes care of translating the entire website while making sure to keep a continuity in the meaning of the text as well as in the viusal aspect of our site. A last meeting is necessary before the files are deposited in the group leader's directory (here Liam).
